Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, your friendly driver will greet you with a warm welcome and assist with your luggage before transferring you to your accommodation. If you arrive early, your driver can recommend places to explore locally so you can begin soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of Marrakech and prepare for the journey ahead.
After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a peaceful walk through the botanical Majorelle Gardens, where lush plant life and striking blue structures create a serene introduction to Moroccan gardens. Then visit the iconic Koutoubia Mosque with its remarkable Almohad-era minaret. Step back in time at the 16th-century Saadian Tombs, followed by a visit to the ornately decorated Bahia Palace. Your day wouldn’t be complete without exploring the lively souks and the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, where storytellers, snake charmers, and musicians fill the air with excitement.
Today your journey takes you out of Marrakech and over the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, with breathtaking views along winding roads. After the mountain descent, visit the historic Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed ksar famed for its clay architecture and film history. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert,” where you will visit Taourirt Kasbah and the local movie studios that have hosted international films. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Journey through the Dades Valley, where winding red cliffs and peaceful valleys unfold. Pass through Kelaat Mgouna, famous for its rose fields, then continue toward Tinghir and its lush palm groves. After breakfast, depart the Sahara and begin your journey north toward Fez, traveling through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Azrou to see its cedar forests and Barbary macaques, and continue through Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine charm and cool climate. Enjoy a break in Imouzzer before arriving in Fez, Morocco’s ancient imperial city, where your tour will continue.
Today you’ll explore Fez with your local guide, diving into centuries of history and craft. Your tour begins at the Seven Golden Gates, leading you into the city’s old quarters. Wander through the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah) and enjoy a panoramic view of the sprawling medina. Visit the Ceramics area, explore the bustling markets, and make stops at the Moulay Idriss II Mausoleum and the Nejjarine Fondouk Museum. Don’t miss the beautiful Attarine School, the legendary Al Karaouine University, and the world-renowned Leather Tanneries, where traditional dyeing practices continue today.
Begin your day with a scenic drive from Fez to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, where well-preserved mosaics and monumental columns reflect the area’s ancient heritage. Continue through Moulay Idriss, a hilltop town with sweeping views, before arriving in Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Explore Bab Mansour Gate, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, Habs Qara, El-Hedim Square, and the Medina. In the evening, continue to Rabat for your overnight stay.
Today you will discover Rabat’s historic landmarks, starting with the Hassan Tower, the remains of a 12th-century mosque, followed by the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, housing the king and his sons. Visit Chellah, an ancient Roman and medieval site, then walk through the peaceful Kasbah of the Udayas with its Atlantic views. Finish your Rabat exploration with time in the Old Medina before driving to Casablanca, where you will spend the night.
On your final day, your driver will transfer you to Casablanca Airport for your departure flight, bringing your 10-day Moroccan adventure to a close. Drop-off can also be arranged in Fez, Casablanca, Rabat, or Tangier upon request.
