Day 1: Arrival to Marrakech

Your Moroccan adventure begins in Casablanca. Upon arrival at Mohammed V International Airport or your hotel, your private driver will meet you and transfer you to your accommodation. If time allows, you can begin exploring Morocco’s largest city and visit its most famous landmark, the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, set prominently beside the Atlantic.

After breakfast, depart for Rabat, the elegant capital city. Explore the historic Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the ancient Kasbah of the Oudaya overlooking the Bou Regreg River. In the afternoon, continue toward the blue-painted town of Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Arrive in the evening and wander its peaceful, photogenic streets.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and free time in Chefchaouen to explore its charming alleys, squares, and rooftop viewpoints. Later, travel to Fes — a city known for its historic medina, centuries-old mosques, and rich craftsmanship.

Today is dedicated to discovering Fes’s ancient heart with a guided tour. Explore the sprawling medieval medina, visit the traditional leather tanneries, see the Al Karaouine University, and take in panoramic views over the city’s labyrinth of lanes and markets.

After breakfast, depart Fes and begin the journey south toward the Sahara. Cross through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in cedar forests (home to Barbary macaques), and traverse the scenic Ziz Valley. Reach Merzouga by afternoon. In the evening, swap your vehicle for a camel and trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you’ll watch the sunset and spend the night in a desert camp under the stars.

Wake up early for a memorable sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, journey westward into the High Atlas region. Stop at Todra Gorge for spectacular canyon views, then continue through dramatic landscapes to the Dades Valley for overnight. From here, you can enjoy the winding “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.”

After breakfast in the Dades region, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert” with its historic kasbahs and film studios. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site Ait Ben Haddou before ascending over the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with sweeping mountain panoramas. Continue onward to Marrakech, where you’ll spend your final night.
