Day 1: Arrival in Tangier

If you arrive early, you may explore Tangier independently and enjoy its relaxed coastal atmosphere in preparation for the journey ahead.

Note: Pick-up can be arranged from Fez, Casablanca, Rabat, or Tangier.

After breakfast, your exploration of Tangier begins. You will first visit Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea, offering spectacular panoramic views. Next, you will explore the famous Caves of Hercules, known for their unique rock formation resembling the shape of Africa.

In the afternoon, you will immerse yourself in the vibrant Old Medina, discover the historic Kasbah Fortress overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar, and visit the American Legation Museum, which celebrates the longstanding relationship between Morocco and the United States.

Today you travel to Chefchaouen, the enchanting blue town nestled in the Rif Mountains. Once there, you will have time to wander through its narrow streets painted in beautiful shades of blue. You can explore the historic Kasbah, relax in Uta el-Hammam Square, visit the refreshing Ras El Maa River, or take a short hike to the Spanish Mosque for breathtaking panoramic views over the town and surrounding mountains. The peaceful atmosphere of Chefchaouen makes it one of Morocco’s most charming destinations.

Leaving Chefchaouen behind, you will head toward the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its remarkably preserved mosaics and ancient columns. After exploring this archaeological treasure, you will pass through Moulay Idriss, one of Morocco’s most sacred hilltop towns.

You will then continue to Meknes, one of the imperial cities, where you will admire Bab Mansour Gate, visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, explore Habs Qara prison, and stroll through El-Hedim Square and the Medina. In the late afternoon, you will travel onward to Fez for your overnight stay.

Today is dedicated to discovering Fez, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital. Accompanied by a local guide, you will begin at the Royal Palace’s Seven Golden Gates before exploring the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah). From a panoramic viewpoint, you will admire the vast Medina before entering its maze-like streets.

Inside the ancient car-free Medina, you will visit the Moulay Idriss II Mausoleum, the Nejjarine Fondouk Museum, and the beautifully decorated Attarine Madrasa. You will see Al Karaouine University from the outside and experience the famous leather tanneries, where traditional dyeing techniques have been preserved for centuries.

Your journey continues with a scenic drive from Fez to Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. Upon arrival, you will visit the Hassan Tower, the remains of a 12th-century mosque, and the nearby Mausoleum of Mohammed V, an architectural masterpiece housing the tombs of the late king and his sons.

You will then explore Chellah, a fascinating site that blends Roman ruins with a medieval Islamic necropolis. Afterward, you will visit the Kasbah of the Udayas, perched above the Bou Regreg River, offering stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. Before leaving Rabat, you will stroll through the Old Medina and its lively markets.

In the evening, you will continue to Casablanca for your overnight stay.

On your final day, you will be transferred from your hotel to Casablanca Airport for your departure flight. If your flight is scheduled for the afternoon, you may visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most impressive mosques in the world, before heading to the airport. Otherwise, you will be transferred directly for your flight home.

Note: Drop-off can be arranged in Fez, Casablanca, Rabat, or Tangier upon request.
